Doctors in all 50 states report that once-eradicated diseases have made a deadly comeback. Toxic travelers bring exotic bacteria, mutant flu bugs, and disgusting parasites across our borders.

And The Washington Post reported recently that 3 out of every 5 infectious disease specialists surveyed have seen patients who have infections that are “resistant to every antibiotic.”

Those odds, frankly, scare me to death. And the highest-ranking medical figure in the world confirms it: “Things as common as strep throat or a child’s scratched knee could once again kill.” (Director-General Margaret Chan, MD, World Health Organization)
